Do the video game titles many of us play express our personas?

As game titles progressed, they've began to adapt to various tastes. Typically, you'll find a game that accommodates every type of individual. But what do the games we engage in articulate about us? If you happen to enjoy Jrpg for example, can this state that you are a smart and patient person. If you ever play FPS, can this indicate you are fairly violent. In case you play sports games, does that generally translate out to a person being athletic?

What is your viewpoint on the matter?

I'd say no. There is not nearly enough games available to pick from to express ones persona through them. It only expresses what genres you prefer and how you like to play them.

^ I agree. It might give us a preview of what kinds of games people like, but I'm not sure it says much about the person specifically. I definitely don't think enjoying FPSes is indicative of violent people, seeing as how a lot of people who love FPS games wouldn't harm a fly (well, figuratively speaking).
