crashes to desktop the moment I press a key

When I log into the game, I can use the mouse and shoot. But if I press any key on the keyboard the game crashes to the desktop. Does anyone know why?

Also I should mention that I experience the same crash running either BF2 or Combat Arms. I can get into a map and use the mouse, so I can turn and shoot, but if i press any key on the keyboard then the game crashes. Also never got either game to work on Vista further than that point. If you find something let me know.

Im having the exact same problem.. As soon as I press a key - the games crashes... It has happened with Combat arms, Cod 4, Mafia, Medal of honor.. Any Solution?
