CPU & GPU buy new home

Yeah, so reading Moo's build thread made me start itching... so I decided that my setup needed a new home with some accessories... as seen blelow... re-build pics to come....

Its like a cage match for the best PC. HAHA. I would upgrade/get new PC but I got more important things to do and spend money on. Plus I'm a motorhead at heart so the whole PC thing is only when I'm not riding, making plans on riding, or fixing what I broke when riding.

naaa, I'm happy with my current setup, as it is able to play any game maxxed out... I do benchmarking for giggles... I just wanted a new case with a bottom PSU mount, black interior, and top x2 140mm vent fans, oh, and a clear side so I can see my gems...

once everything is done this weekend, I will do new benchmarks, temps, etc,, and post them up...

This stuff is addictive... right Moo! ; )

Shall I overclock my AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition?

Apparently I can overclock to something around 4.5Ghz

To bad I can overclock to 3.7Ghz before I need a new CPU cooler

I found a laptop with 1.7Ghz, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD and 1GB Nvidia GTS250M with 15.6" LCD for AUD$1500.

Why does technology move so fast to make my laptop look like a piece of crap ?

Also, the RAM in that bulid is sort of bad. Maybe up it to 1066Mhz or 1333Mhz. Trust me, it sucks for games.

Roger, yes OC... but get a good cpu cooler first... you have an AMD... OC that B!&^%!!!! : )

Here is my current case, setup.... The computer desk photo is from last summer when I was in my apartment,,, now I have a house and cleaner setup, but same desk... Love my old case, but need updated setup... to be cool.... figuritively and literally.... haha... : )

This is also and older pic, but shows basic setup inside case... I now have GTX-285 card and Corsair Dominator 1066 Ram....
