Are you disappointed that Bowser was the main villain?

I sure was since they seemed to be hinting at the fact, from the start, that there was a bigger "force" at work..

But if there's something after the 60 stars (that's how much I'm up to), don't spoil it.

Not really, mainly because we knew it was him from the start, but a new villain in a Super Mario game would've been nice. Maybe next time.

I'm not saying to rid of Bowser, just to add a little variety.

I guess they did add some variety this time, mainly because Bowser had a peculiar skill in dark arts in this one.

Bowser goes way back, and to get rid of him wouldn't be good IMO.
But maybe a new guy would freshen things up.

Well, we have seen new villains such as Count Bleck but they hinted that there would be a new space-like villain/alien figure (perhaps?) for this game.

I liked it how we were lead to believe that Mario had a bad clone of himself in Sunshine until Bowser Jr. exposed himself. I think a main bad guy from perhaps one of the Mario & Luigi games would be nice, with Bowser in the game, just not the main threat.
