I didnt know you could tweak those bastards. Ok, mine is a Linksys Wrtp54g and the wireless card is a Dlink DwL520.

i dont know how, but you can do firmware k0x to crank up the wattage

moneyshot and i have a friend (well, acquaintance) that has done it

i would google for firmware hacks for your model
