2D or 3D Metroids?

So which Metroid style do you like? I personally like the 2D ones because they're classic & have better bosses.

 

2D love the old Metroid 2D game's^^

I've only ever played the 3D games, so it's 3D for me.

 

They are good at different things.
Personally, I think Super Metroid has better gameplay and music than the Metroid Prime. But in Metroid Prime, things could surprise you from the back, since you can't see all ways at the same time (which you can in 2D). It made me have a less jolly mood while playing. And that was great, I think.

2D - Classic. Great gameplay and bosses.
3D - Full of surprises.

 

2D: Good and classic
3D: Could be massively surprising since you can't see the whole screen

 

I love Metroid Prime, but I love Super Metroid even more.

hehe moi too, yea 2D is far better, 3D dosent feel like a metroid, its a great sub series on its own but Games like Super Metroid cannot be beaten with a stick
