Will you be buying the Wii U?

I think the Wii U looks cool, but I'm afraid I will get bored with it. I don't play my Wii much anymore. Honestly, I got bored with it after a couple of months, so I think that the same thing will happen if I buy the Wii U. I do like the new controller it has though.

It's pretty much guaranteed that I won't be buying the new Wii U. It does sound cool, but like you, I barely use the consoles I have, so I just don't think it'd be a good idea for me to spend a small fortune on another dust collector.

Wasn't planning on it. I don't really expect the Wii U to be a huge success. Maybe people will take to it, but I have very little interest in this thing.

I definitely won't be buying the Wii U. The controller looks to be a huge disappointment for me. It looks more like a gimmick. I'd rather stay with my Wii and PS3. Though it'd still be interesting to read or hear some reviews when its out. It might probably change my mind.

No way. I'm a hardcore gamer and the Wii U won't be for hardcore gamers unless they change the name of it and the design.

Now that I've had the opportunity to see it again and the line up that they have for it, I can't say that I'll be buying it anywhere near its release date. I thought the Showcase was poorly put together, but if that is all they had ready to show, then I guess that would be the best that they could do.

Which leads me to my biggest issue: why was that all that they could show? They announced this thing last year and that was the amount of progress made? The only thing that even peaked my interest was the improvements to Wii Fit U and LEGO Undercover. That's not enough to make me find room in my home and money in my wallet.

I'll wait to see what else and more it has to offer.

I would only consider buying it after the price has dropped and the bugs have been worked out. I probably won't even buy it the first year that it's out.
It's cool but not a must have and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it.

Only once Super Smash Bros Universe comes out and even then I'm pretty sure my friend will get one so I won't have to anyway. I'm interested in seeing how it does and if Nintendo can return to a more mainstream audience again, but until they prove to me they can do it I'm not buying their consoles anymore.

I'm surprised that so many people are avoiding the Wii U! I am definitely not getting it on release date but I might get it once the price drops and if there are enough good games on it for it to be worthwhile. I really hope the games don't follow the same pattern as the regular Wii. Only big franchise games like Mario and Zelda were successful on the Wii and I want to see some new series come out!
